Joe Joe was born on August 17, 2003. His registered name was Ap's Horus
Neterti, the two eyes of the god Horus. The first show in which he was
entered, Joe received a judge's prize in the sweepstakes. The prize was
for the bulldog, in spite of the judging, that the judge though had the
most show potential. It was given by Pat Hartle. Joe Joe went to the
Harrisburg cluster in 2004. On Thursday, he was awarded Winner's Dog for
3 points, and Best of Winners. On Friday, he was Reserve Winners Dog. On
Saturday, which was the Lower Susquehanna Bulldog Club specialty, Joe
went Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed over 70 bulldogs at
the age of 8 months!! He finished his championship at 11 months by going
Best of Breed and a Group 3. Joe Joe was extremely standard weighing in
at 53 pounds. He was awarded numerous Best of Breed and Group
placements. We lost Joe Joe in April of 2005. Our veterinarian said it
best, "It was as if he knew he had to pack all of his accomplishments
into a short period of time." His loss still hurts.
